35 year old pastor Bernadel Semexant, of the House of Prayer Christian Church of America was arrested this week on sex crimes against a child. To compound this story, 8 other members of the same church were also arrested for a different crime (fraud).

Semexant has already received an indictment from a Grand Jury. The charges relate to engaging in sex acts with a minor, abusing a minor sexually, transfer of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

House of Prayer Christian Church of America

House of Prayer is a Georgia based Christian ministry. This is not the first time it’s been in the news. The organization has also had it’s leadership indicted on charges of fraud.

House of Prayer describes itself as a Pentecostal church. It was established in 2004 by Rony Denis, who is now indicted on fraud charges.
