This is crime of child welfare – Assoc. Pastor John Gibson (aka Trey Gibson) was arrested for leaving his 5 year old alone in his car, while he drank at a bar. Then later in the same day, left the child alone, while he ate.

News reports, and arrest records have indicated his name is John Gibson, however the church itself lists him as “Trey Gibson.” He oversaw a family outreach program of the church and held the title, “Associate Pastor of Families.”

A pastor in Alabama is accused of leaving a young child alone in an SUV while he drank at a bar.

Police said John Gibson is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Gibson was the “associate pastor of families” First Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama. It’s somewhat ironic that he held a position for family outreach.
