The indictment alleges that Campbell committed the offenses in 1984 while serving as youth pastor at Eastland Assembly of God Church in Tulsa. Between May 1 and Oct. 1 of that year, he “allegedly raped a girl age 11 or 12 in the garage of his home,” the attorney general’s news release said. The document also states that Campbell is accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl at the church between March 1 and Dec. 1 of the same year.

Campbell served in a position with infamous Jim Baker. Campbell is also an Assembles of God ordained pastor. The Assemblies of God is a pentecostal church movement that has in the past few years become increasingly aggressively political.
