Tiffanie Irwin

The strange tale of two pastors, Jerry Irwin and Tiffany Irwin that ended in the death of a 19 year old youth. Jerry Irwin started a strange cult-like pentecostal church in Chadwicks, New York. After the passing of Jerry Irwin, his wife continued his legacy as pastor. The cult-like behavior was in the control of the church leadership. When one family member decided to step away from the church, the church forbid the family from having contact with him. Family control is a red flag. In fact control (telling you how to vote, how to dress, how to talk) is a red flag.

In the case of Tiffany Irwin, she took over after her husband’s passing and under her leadership someone was killed. Lucas and Christopher Leonard (17 and 19 years old) were given “spiritual counseling,” which were physical beatings.

On the night of October 11, 2015, following a Sunday church meeting, Lucas Leonard was subject to an all-night church counseling session, led by Tiffanie Irwin and attended by about 30 parishioners, including Leonard’s parents and older sister. The meeting was held after Leonard expressed a desire to leave the church.[9] Lucas and his 17-year-old brother, Christopher, were beaten continuously.[10] According to witness testimony, the session lasted 14 hours and ended when the parishioners thought Lucas was dead.[9] Lucas died in hospital the next day.[9] Autopsy results revealed “multiple contusions from blunt-force trauma to the torso and extremities”, including blows to the genital area.[9]

The reason this 2015 incident is reported here, today, is that Tiffanie Irwin was released last week on parole. She served 9 of the 12 years she was sentenced to.
