Methodist pastor Shelton Burkart has been arrested for sex crimes. The charges are focused on having possession of child pornography. Burkart was pastoring Zion Global Methodist Church in Norlina, N. Carolina.

“The SBI and the Warren county Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Pastor and charged him with multiple Sex Crimes. Shelton Kelsey Burkart, a Pastor at Zion Global Methodist Church in Norlina was charged with 5 Counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploiting a Minor and 5 Counts Third-Degree Sexual Exploiting a Minor.”
